Norrtåg accelerates4 June, 2015
Norrtåg order a major upgrade of its existing system solution for Internet on-board. The new system means that several simultaneous mobile data connections are used parallel, that an on-board computer installed including dynamic load sharing of data traffic over the available data links, and faster WiFi APs installed in all train cars.
Our client Norrtåg has decided to upgrade all existing installations, newly installed on a number of vehicles. The goal is to significantly increase the capacity and performance for the first WiFi-connected traveler.
Vehicles of type 4-wagons Coradia Alstom from going after project completion using three simultaneous 4G data links from Telia, Telenor and Net1. While the 2-wagon type vehicles X11, Regina and Itino uses two 4G data links.
